A message from Diane Cevallos, founder of Charlotte Family Yoga center
Eight months ago, determined to create a studio that would make yoga financially accessible to everyone, I opened Charlotte Family Yoga Center. This center was created for and about community, family and wellness.
I discovered the tremendous benefits of yoga eight years prior, as it enabled me to emerge from the darkness of depression, a toxic relationship and alcohol abuse. After a few years of earning my yoga practice at a variety of studios, whether it was by cleaning mats or working at the front desk, I decided I wanted to become a yoga instructor.
Being a yoga instructor allows me to serve others from a place of love and compassion and to share the healing benefits of yoga.
Through the past five years as an instructor, I've had the pleasure of witnessing many beautiful faces come through my classes. I've watched their bodies change physically, as they mentally and spiritually release toxicity from their lives. It is because my yoga practice is so personal to me, that I remain dedicated to providing a fair chance to everyone to be able to explore healthier living through yoga, meditation and workshops.
I truly believe that yoga should be a right of life - not a luxury.
In order to maintain our vision and commitment to the community to serve all people, we will be hosting a Community Festival July 9. All instructors and staff are donating their time, belief and commitment to our vision and to make this a GREAT EXPERIENCE for YOU!
Please bring your friends and share the fun of yoga.
