Life’s journey has given me skills, empathy and wisdom, which I share through coaching and through Yoga, often two different routes seeking the same results.
I love to engage the mind, keep the body strong and nurture the spirit. I began my interaction with Yoga when I was in my medical training days. Long days and nights, I needed a place to de-stress. One session of Kirpala Yoga and I was hooked. I returned to Yoga when I was a young mom, again finding stress reduction but it also helped my find my figure, Hatha Yoga was the choice at that time. Sadly I spent a number of years away from Yoga, being trapped in the NO time for me syndrome. Remerging I took assorted classes and found that as long as I was on the mat, I didn’t care what they called it. My last reentry into Yoga came at a premenopausal juncture and I was not inclined toward drugs. Relief came gradually as my practice increased.
This was the final tap on the shoulder I needed. I saw clearly that I needed to become a Yoga Instructor, two main reasons stood out to me. I needed it for my mind, body and spirit, and I have always loved to train, and share.

Eight months ago I felt I needed something, I just didn't feel like I had energy. Today I try to make it to the mat twice a week. I have Increased my Energy; my knee's don't hurt like last winter & when I do get a kink, Sandy knows how to unlock those joints and stretch those muscles. If you’re on the edge get on the mat, watch yourself unfold. ~Adele - Student
